Effective 10 September 2026.
Who we are
Kifal is a brand of Mentoro LLC (“Kifal”, “we”, “us”), registered in the Qatar Financial Centre, Doha, Qatar. Our address is QFC Tower 1, Floor 9, West Bay, Doha, Qatar. Mentoro LLC is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. Write to us at info@getkifal.com with any question about it. We have not appointed a data protection officer or a representative.
What this notice covers
This notice explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, request an invitation, contact us, enquire about a partnership or career, or create and use a beta account.
Where an organisation uses Kifal and supplies information about its business, its people or the parties it works with, that organisation decides how the information is used and we handle it on its instructions. This notice describes our own handling of personal information. It does not replace the notice that organisation gives to its own people.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide through our forms and correspondence, such as your name, email, organisation, role, countries of interest, business priorities and message. Optional fields are marked on the form.
Our website forms work by opening a draft message in your own email application. The website itself stores nothing you type into them. We receive your information when you send the message.
For accounts, we process the name, work email and organisation of the account holder, the invitation and its status, and records of sign-in and access.
When you visit the website, our website hosting provider records technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so that the site can be kept available and secure. The website sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, tag manager, tracking pixels, advertising or local storage, and it embeds no third-party content other than the typeface used across the site, which is served by Google Fonts. Loading a page therefore makes one request to Google, which receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request.
For career enquiries, we process the introduction, professional links and any CV you choose to send us by email.
Most information reaches us from you. We also receive your name, email and organisation from a colleague or partner who invites you to Kifal. We do not obtain personal information from data brokers or other commercial sources.
Please do not submit passwords, identity documents, confidential business records or sensitive personal information through public enquiry forms.

We do not use analytics or advertising technology. We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.
Required form fields allow us to handle the relevant request; if you do not provide them, we may be unable to do so. Providing optional information is voluntary.
Marketing choices
We send product updates only to people who ask to receive them. You can stop them at any time through the unsubscribe link or by writing to info@getkifal.com. Withdrawing your choice does not affect the lawfulness of earlier messages, and it does not stop the messages we need to send to manage your account or answer your enquiries. We do not use your information for advertising.
Who receives information
We use service providers to run the website and the platform: our website hosting provider and our cloud infrastructure provider. They handle information on our instructions and only to provide those services. Enquiries you send us reach the Kifal team; they are not circulated to our partner network.
We may also share information with our professional advisers, or with a regulator, court or public authority, where we are required to do so or where we need to establish or defend a legal claim. Where an organisation administers an account, the administrators it appoints can see the records held in that account.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.
International processing
Platform infrastructure is in Qatar. Some of our service providers handle information outside Qatar. Where they do, the safeguards required by the QFC Data Protection Regulations apply. Write to info@getkifal.com for information about those safeguards.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this notice and to meet our legal and record-keeping requirements. The retention periods that apply to an account are provided when the account is opened. Career enquiries are held for the role applied for; we do not maintain a talent pool. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.
Your rights
Under the QFC Data Protection Regulations you may have the right to access your information, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how it is used, to receive a copy of the information you gave us, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. These rights are subject to conditions and exceptions.
Write to info@getkifal.com to make a request. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity. We aim to respond within one month, and we will tell you if a request is complex and needs longer. If you are not satisfied with our response, write to us at the same address. You may also complain to the QFC Data Protection Office, which can be contacted through the Qatar Financial Centre Authority in Doha.
Automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects. Decisions about invitations, accounts and applications are made by people.
Protecting information
The website and the platform are served over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to personal information is limited to the people who need it for their work, and our hosting and cloud infrastructure providers apply their own infrastructure controls. No system is completely secure, and we do not claim certification to any security standard.
Children
Kifal’s website and beta are intended for business use and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly open accounts for people under 18. If we learn that we hold information about a child, we delete it.
Changes and contact
We will update this notice when our practices change and show the effective date above. If a change is material, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect. For questions about this notice, or to exercise your rights, write to info@getkifal.com or to Mentoro LLC, QFC Tower 1, Floor 9, West Bay, Doha, Qatar.
